Do you think Bud would be a good child to adopt? What are his strong points? How would he add to a family? How do you think he would fit into your family?

  1. Yes, Bud would be a good child to adopt. He is so very polite and respectful. I think all anyone wants is to love and be loved and in that regard he would fit right into the Schwartz Fam!

  2. I think Bud would be a good child to adopt because he is polite and respectful. Bud would also be a good child to adopt because he is a tough kid and does not cry or whine unlike my sister Georgia.

  3. I think that Bud would be a good child to adopt because he is reliable and courageous. I think Bud is courageous because even when he was being stung all over, he still found a way to get out of the shed. Bud is also reliable because he made Jerry feel good even when Jerry was really scared.

  4. Bud would be a wonderful child to adopt. He is a thinker, a problem solver, and makes me laugh. If given the opportunity to have a loving family, Bud would thrive. He is craving that consistency that a family can provide and would bring a sense of wonder and learning to any family with his "Rules and Things". In the Ervin family, Bud would make us laugh and would fit right in with his storytelling.

  6. (Considering Bud is the same age but now) I think Bud would be a very good friend to have and I would adopt him. He would fit right in to my family because we would probably get along very well.

  8. I think Bud would be a great child to adopt because he is very respectful and polite. He was not bad at the Amoses but Todd tricked his parents. So I think Bud would fit great into my family.

    1. Well he did make Todd wet his pants and bed but that was because Todd was mean to him so you are right.

    2. I thought Bud was pretty creative when he tried to make Todd wet his pants...that was a much better way of getting revenge than his original thought of using the gun!

  10. I think that bud would enjoy being in our family because he would have somebody to play with thats his age and lots of toys to play with. He is nice and has manners and also says please and thank you. So I think that he would fit in to our family well.

    1. Yes he would love something to do. Me and my dad would teach Bud everything we know about sports. From Players to Deon Sanders, to Pete Rose, and all the way to Michael Jordan. He would love it all.

  11. I think Bud would be a FANTASTIC kid to adopt because he is polite (even though nobody says "yes, ma'am" anymore) and pleasant. He would also be fun to have around. I think he would fit into my family by helping us finish the tree house in the backyard.

    3. Oh. I guess I was just thinking about OUR house. We don't say "yes ma'am" in there. But now that I am thinking about it, I relized that my brother says "yes, sir" and "yes ma'am" in his kurian karate class.

  13. Bud would be a great addition to our family. I'm impressed with how he takes such good care of his belongings and is very organized! We could use more of that in our family!

  14. I think if he was added to my family then i'm not sure it would work not saying that in a way sure we would adopt him and we wouldn't be mean but me and my sisters play a lot of video games and i don't think they had a lot of them so if we were to adopt him it would be kinda strange but i wonder if we would change him from being around video games

  15. To me, he would be a awesome addition to MY family, because I've always wanted a brother, and my parents can't have any more children. Also, my little sisters need a good role model since they're super, super, SUPER messy. We can't have any more of that.

    1. Just teach your sisters to like Football I taught my teenage sister to. Her favorite player's are Bo Jackson and Javier Alexander [Javier Alexander is in college.]

  16. I think Bud would be fun to adopt with his creative ideas and his energetic personality and he is brave just like my sisters. They are willing to go up to someone and let them call you a different name and act like a family member. Unlike me I would sit quietly and say nothing.

    1. It is not that you are not brave Annika, you just like to follow rules and avoid conflict at all costs. If Bud challenged you to a swimming race you would be the bravest kid of all.

  17. I think my mom would definitely adopt bud because he is organized. I would not because if he is setting the bar high, my mom is going to say" you should do better than that. He would make a good addition to our family because we need at least one person who can actually clean up.

  19. I think Bud would be a nice addition to our family because I don't have a lot to do, partly because i'm a only child. all though we feel at home with just three people, I think it would be fun to have Bud.

  20. I think Bud would make a great addition to our family. We have 4 girls and a female dog so I think Mr. McHale would appreciate having another guy around! He is polite, he likes things to be organized, and like Mrs. Y said, he has a good appetite. I think he would be a good family member because he sticks up for himself and speaks his mind. When asked to apologize for his actions, he willing agrees.

On the other hand, I'm not so sure I would like to have someone in our house who thought about using guns when they were mad at another family member - not that we own any. In Bud's defense, he decided in the end, that guns were too dangerous and hid it away from himself and the Amos family.

    2. I think Dad would love having Bud around, he would also probably help Dad with fixing stuff, I think Bud would be good at that. Dad would also love having Bud after all I feel kinda bad for him he lives with 6 girls ( including our dog Daisy) but loves us all, but he would love having Bud around.

  21. I tried to post earlier but had some technical difficulties which works out because I changed my mind. From what I know of Bud I don't think I would be able to adopt him. I think he is well mannered and respectful, but I also think he has had such a difficult life that maybe he has become too independent. I would be afraid he wouldn't know what to do with the love of a family and may run off to be alone. He would have fun with Mason and Maddox, but ultimately I don't think he would allow himself to be happy here. Maybe I'll change my mind again once I learn more about him.

  22. I think Bud would be a grate kid to adopt. He is respectful and kind. Bud loves his possessions so much I think he would lick all the things we have.

  23. I think Bud would be an awesome child to adopt. First of all I have no brothers but I have 3 sisters and it would be fun to have a brother. Bud is similar to me he will pretty much eat anything so will I. He loves revenge so he would be a good fit in my family ( we fight a lot). He is very adventurous and brave and in my family those traits will do you good. Bud would also fit in my family very well. If you’re ready for anything and able to take big sisters you’re are perfect. I think Bud very well could fit into my family. He is also incredibly brave and if he was my brother that would be awesome because I think I would become even more brave. I think Bud is an awesome child to adopt.

  24. Bud seems to have excellent manners, would appreciate everything we would have to offer him, but I'm not sure if he would know how to fit into a family. If I was looking to adopt a child I would absolutely adopt him. There would be lots of adjusting to do on both ends, but that is to be expected. I would not adopt a child right now though. Have my hands full enough right now!
